Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is an Afghani woman born of a Russian father and mother who is a Hindu Indian mother. She speaks fluent German, Russian English and also French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru, born in India, to an Indian father and a Russian father as well as an Indian mother, is fluent with both of the languages. A choreographed performance at age 11 that aired on German television, turned her into the Russian dancer, who became a snow maiden. Following her graduation from New York's high school, she earned her bachelor's degree in English degree at St. John's University. After school she took acting classes at the HB studio but the left to study improvisation in The Groundlings School taking on several comedy projects thereafter. Her family was brought up within Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and Russian-speaking mom Olga. Their parents split when she turned 13 years old old and she was moved from the city of her birth to East Meadow New York with her father.She is a part of Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell on FX's The Americans. TV actress best known for her role as former KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova, on FX's The Americans. Her role was a regular one in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
